Congratulations to Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas for their absolutely BREATHTAKING  contemporary performance tonight on Dancing With The Stars!

It was “dynamic duos” night on Dancing With The Stars, and Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson and partner Mark Ballas took the audience all the way back to the original duo – Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden.

Their contemporary dance was paired with a live performance of Alanis Morissette’s Uninvited, sung by vocalist BC Jean.

Because this dance so directly reflected her Christian faith, Sadie expressed how much she wanted to make sure that this dance went off without a hitch, The Times-Picayune reports.

“Because it’s such an iconic story and it’s a message from the Bible … I do feel pressure to make it right,” she said.

Prior to their performance, Ballas shared how upset he was by the judges’ reactions to the previous week’s performance. When facing the judges this week, Len Goodman directly addressed Ballas’ misgivings, pairing it with a compliment about the Adam and Eve number.

“Does this mean we’re not going clubbing tonight? I love your creativity, I love your passion. … I only say what I see and try to be honest,” Goodman said.  “But on that performance, you won’t be banished from the Garden of Eden. You’re back next week. Well done.”

Other judges echoed Goodman’s sentiments, Zap2It reports.

Julianne Hough says, “I absolutely loved it, there was a maturity that we haven’t seen from you and that was, to me … beyond anything that we’ve seen and it was so perfect for what you obviously portray.” And Bruno Tonioli echoes, “You’ve come such a long way, my darling. The detail in the choreography and the difficulty that we’ve thrown at you, it’s unbelievable how you did.”

The pair walked away with 38 points, their highest score yet this season.
